We are seeking a Qualified social worker to join our child protection team.Supervised and supported by senior colleagues, you’ll manage a caseload of children and families in need and undertake key worker responsibilities for children on the child protection register. This will include carrying out initial and core assessment, planning, implementing and terminating interventions and co-coordinating the provision of services. You’ll also contribute to the formulation of child protection plans and give court evidence in child protection cases if needed.
Your previous experience of working with this client group will have equipped you with a good knowledge of child protection legislation, the range of support services available and an ability to relate effectively with children, parents and carers – especially in stressful situations. 2 years experience is required for this post.
